As Zen Buddhists, we take vows to treat all equally and with compassion.

The Buddha taught that we all have the capacity to awaken.

The first Bodhisattva Vow charges us to awaken together with all beings.

To that end,  Rising Lotus Sangha is committed to being a safe place of spiritual growth, learning and fellowship for all who want to participate with us.

We want everyone who comes to Rising Lotus Sangha to feel welcomed, included, supported, and treated equally regardless of age, gender, income, ability, ethnicity or sexuality.
